Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates over 90 years ago. It is a method of movement that involves control, centering, precision, breathing, concentration and flow. You will learn to use your mind to control your body, to move with intention and awareness. With time, discipline and commitment your body will gradually change when the methods of Pilates are implemented. Does this mean you will have a 26 inch waist, no belly fat and thighs that don’t touch..NO! BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY…

Pilates is an exercise that works for all levels and from all starting points. Join me by listening to my podcasts, perform the exercises to the best of your ability and you will see improvement. On the days you don’t utilize the podcasts instill the Pilates principles in your daily life. I will list postural ideas for daily activities in my blog. As your awareness of your body increases through Pilates you will find yourself spontaneously correcting you posture, alignment, movements, breathe and weight bearing patterns.
